Santiago Romo Urroz, Director of the Rey Juan Carlos University Technology Transfer Office, Madrid, Spain
In July 2016 he was appointed Coordinator of the Spanish Association of University Technology Transfer Offices, RedOTRI.
During 2008-2010, he managed the Technology Transfer Support Program at the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation.
He joined the Rey Juan Carlos University after 15 years activity in private and public organisations such as: Telefonica (Madrid, Spain), LURE Laboratory (Orsay-Paris, France), Autonoma University (Madrid, Spain) and CDTI (Spanish R&D Agency, Ministry of Science and Innovation).
He has been Spanish National Delegate to the European R&D Framework Program (European Commission) and Industrial Liaison Officer at CERN Laboratory (Geneva, Switzerland) and ESRF Laboratory (Grenoble, France).
He is a graduate in Physics of Autonoma University Madrid, Spain.
He represents the National Association Advisory Council (NAAC) on the Board of ASTP-Proton.
