During every ASTP-Proton Fall Meeting and Annual Conference, there is an special social event for KTO Directors to network, share experiences, challenges, mistakes, best practice and learn from each other.
Are you a Director of a TTO with a desire to meet and share your knowledge and dilemmas with like minded professionals? The Directors’ Forum is a great place to connect and problem solve.
The Directors’ Dinner dinner during the forthcoming Fall Meeting in Guimarães will be loosely convened around a number of topics which we have learned are high on the agenda for this group.
We spoke to Amanda Zeffman, chair of ASTP-Proton’s Professional Development Committee to gather some insights on the November event.
“The ASTP-Proton Directors’ Dinner is an informal opportunity to meet with fellow TTO directors to contemplate your evolving needs over the next 5-10 years. What strategies can you employ to deliver efficient and effective knowledge transfer operations? What challenges do you face in terms of recruitment or upskilling of experienced professionals?”
“As well as brainstorming with your peers, your participation in the evening event will help influence new ASTP-Proton training courses designed to meet emerging needs of our members and your staff.”
