ASTP-Proton warmly invites you to attend the site visit to High Tech Campus Eindhoven and Philips in Eindhoven, the Netherlands

High Tech Campus Eindhoven – the smartest square km in Europe and one of the main High Tech Hubs in the world – is a prime example of a thriving business ecosystem with a healthy mix of large corporates, SMEs, innovative startups and research institutes. The former Philips Research Campus has seen a transformation from a closed corporate research environment to an Open Innovation campus over the last 15 years and now houses a community of over 140 high tech companies. Knowledge sharing and collaboration are key ingredients to the success of High Tech Campus Eindhoven and form part of the DNA of the wider Brainport region around Eindhoven.

This site visit offers a unique chance to learn more about the successful transformation of the campus and hear about some inspirational examples of collaboration between for example corporates and startups and between industry and universities. The program includes an introduction and tour of the High Tech Campus Eindhoven; a behind the scenes look of the successful High Tech XL accelerator program to attract high tech startups to the Brainport Region which also links to corporates through the Eindhoven Startup Alliance; the collaboration between Philips Healthworks and health tech incubator NLC to scout and create new ventures in Healthtech; an inside view of how Philips interacts with TTO’s and the strategic collaboration between Philips and Eindhoven University of Technology; The program will end with drinks and an opportunity to network.

We are operating on a ‘crowdsourcing’ principle – once we have 20 participants registered we will confirm the event – and stop registrations once we reach 30. We kindly ask you to wait with booking flights and hotel accommodation until written confirmation from our side.
